What About Nonstop Flights to Europe from the West Coast?
While American flies nonstop from Los Angeles LAX to London LHR, there's no spring break business class saver award availability in March and April. There are a few dates starting in May with business saver award space.
Can I Hold Awards with Cathay Pacific Asia Miles?
No, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles doesn't permit award holds; neither does Alaska Mileage Plan. American AAdvantage allows 5 day award holds.
Which Points Can Transfer to Cathay Pacific Asia Miles?
AMEX Membership Rewards points, Citi ThankYou points and Starwood Preferred Guest Starpoints can transfer to Asia Miles. Since Starpoints transfers to Asia Miles can take anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks, I recommend foregoing the 25% transfer bonus and transferring Membership Rewards or ThankYou points.
