St Barths Open to Vaccinated Travelers

St. Barths has Reopened to Vaccinated Travelers, which we've added to our Destinations Open if You're Vaccinated Against COVID-19. Previously, France closed St. Barths as well as French Polynesia, which includes Tahiti and Bora Bora. French Polynesia reopened May 1, 2021 to vaccinated travelers.

Here are the requirements to visit St. Barths:

Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with one of the vaccines authorized by the EMA (European Medicines Agency): Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson. Note that this requirement applies to all adults 18 and older. Fully vaccinated means that you are traveling at least two weeks after the final vaccine dose.
Not be traveling from Brazil (all fully vaccinated travelers as per above from other countries are permitted)
Reserve a 7 night or longer stay. The hotel or villa you reserve with will then complete St. Barths Tourism's online form that includes your names, arrival/departure dates, vaccination status, and transportation details. Typically authorities then provide authorization within ~48 hours
Double check with your hotel that the authorities have provided authorization, and bring a printed copy, along with a printed copy of your negative COVID-19 PCR test results
Within the 3 days prior to arriving in St. Barths, take a COVID-19 rt-PCR test (nasopharyngeal preferred) and obtain negative test results. This is required for *each traveler* (including someone who is vaccinated) who is 10 years or older. Only children age 9 and under do not need to be tested.
Also be sure to comply with the COVID-19 entry/transit requirements of whichever airport you're going through to get to St. Barths, for example St. Martin (SXM) or San Juan (SJU). Tradewind Aviation from SJU is our recommended way to get to St. Barth.

2. Hotel Le Toiny (Reopens October 15, 2021)
