Hawaiian Airlines Will Offer Drive-Through Coronavirus Testing to passengers near Los Angeles LAX and San Francisco SFO starting October 15, 2020. Hawaiian is playing catch-up to United Airlines, which will offer a 15-minute coronavirus test at SFO Airport itself, whereas the Hawaiian Airlines test will be a drive-through test in the vicinity of SFO and LAX airports.
Hawaiian Airlines has partnered with Worksite Labs for the drive-through PCR testing ($90 for results within 36 hours, or $150 for day-of-travel express service). Starting October 15, passengers who receive a negative result from a test taken within 72 hours of departure will be able to skip Hawaii's 14-day quarantine upon arrival.
Note that it's not yet possible to book an appointment; Worksite Labs states that its scheduling portal will be available by October 15. We recommend booking a Hawaii trip for mid-November 2020 or later, both to avoid potential snafus and delays with the implementation of these pre-flight testing programs and because not all Hawaii hotels will be open as of October 15. See Hawaii Luxury Hotels: Reopening Dates and Offers.
Hawaiian hopes to forge other testing partnerships for its other mainland U.S. gateways.

Hawaiian Airlines First Class
We had friendly service on our Hawaiian Airlines First Class A330 flight last year, although the seat, food, and other aspects of the flight left us unimpressed. The key to enjoying it is low expectations. Here's our Hawaiian Airlines First Class YouTube review:
