The 100K Ink Business Preferred Card now has only an $8K minimum spend to earn the signup bonus, welcome news for savvy travelers who have wanted the card but have been given pause by the usual $15,000 minimum spend requirement within the first three months. Here are the offer details:
- Earn 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $8000 within the first 3 months of card membership
- Earn 3X points per dollar for spend on shipping; social media and search engine advertising; travel; internet, cable, and phone services
- $95 annual fee
- No foreign transaction fees
As we wrote in 10 Reasons to Get the 100K Ink Business Preferred, there aren't many public offers for travel credit cards that offer 100,000 transferable bank points with a low annual fee. The AMEX Business Platinum, for example, charges a whopping $695 annual fee (which is also charged the first year and not waived), and the current offer, which requires $15,000 spend, gives you 120,000 bonus points. The Ink Business Preferred's annual fee is just $95.
The above are key reasons that for years, we haven't had any AMEX cards that charge an annual fee, and instead we primarily earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points, earning 2X-5X points per dollar spent.
We also look out for Chase transfer bonuses to British Airways Avios and, to a lesser extent, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, to receive bonus miles with our Ultimate Rewards points transfers to airline frequent flyer programs. Favorite redemptions include Qatar Qsuites Business Class (and even a short Qatar First Class award flight), Iberia Business Class, ANA Business Class, and United Polaris, among others.
