The NYC Dance Parade is my favorite of NYC's many parades, for its sheer diversity in dance styles, music, and exuberant energy. Everything from Bolivian folk dancing to Hawaiian hula to Roller Disco is represented, and it's especially endearing to even see the children who participate.
While the munchkin and I only caught the first part of the parade, here's a photo essay that gives you a taste of the 2013 NYC Dance Parade. If you missed it this year, try to catch the NYC Dance Parade in 2014!
