My Shangri-La Luxury Circle Program Benefits post resulted in quite a bit of interest and bookings from existing and new clients alike, along with some questions, the most common being “Are there any Luxury Circle upgrades to suites or Horizon Club rooms?” and “What are the current best Shangri-La offers combinable with Luxury Circle benefits?”
Although not common, there are several Shangri-La hotels that offer upgrades to a Horizon Club Room from a regular room, or even from a room to a suite. Additionally, there are some Shangri-La 3rd night free and 4th night free offers available now that are combinable with Shangri-La Luxury Circle Program benefits.
As a reminder, Shangri-La Luxury Circle benefits include a guaranteed upgrade at time of booking (applicable room and suite categories vary by hotel); complimentary daily full breakfast for two; choice of 3 VIP amenities; a one-time hotel credit of $100 or 10% of the daily room rate, whichever is higher (except certain China and Malaysia properties; see Shangri-La Luxury Circle Program Changes February 10); and accelerated Golden Circle Jade elite status that begins at check-in for bookings made before 2/10/17.
The following list isn't exhaustive, but it includes some of the better and more popular Shangri-La hotels. For the hotels below, I've put in bold font upgrades that are from a room to a Horizon Club level room, or from a room to a suite.
