AMEX Offers can be a great way to save on hotels and other travel purchases, especially if you know how to maximize their value. You'll see these offers, which vary by AMEX card, after logging into your online AMEX account. As it's only possible to utilize one offer per cardholder, save the offer to the card that will earn the most points. For example, if it's an airline AMEX offer, save it to an AMEX Platinum consumer card to earn 5X on airfare purchased directly with an airline. But don't save a hotel deal to the AMEX Platinum, because it only earns 1 point per dollar for hotels booked directly with the hotel (which hotel offers require). Instead, save hotel offers to an AMEX Blue Business Plus, which earns 2X on all spend.
