Business Class to Australia for 75K Points

.

Book United Polaris Business Class to Australia for just 75K Aeroplan points each way for select dates during Australia's summer: December-March. Transfer Ultimate Rewards points from the Ink Business Preferred or Sapphire Reserve 1:1 to Aeroplan points. While these points also transfer 1:1 to United MileagePlus miles, it costs more miles: 100,000 MileagePlus miles for these awards.

Best availability is to and from Brisbane (BNE) from LAX or SFO, particularly in February-March, although there are some December and January dates as well, especially for the return trip from BNE. Keep in mind that it's only a 1.5 hour flight between Brisbane and Sydney.

There are a handful of dates with availability for SFO-SYD in December, February and March, with better availability on the return, especially in December and February. Similarly, there's more availability for Melbourne to SFO than the handful of December dates for the outbound.

Where to Stay

In Sydney, we particularly like the new Capella Sydney, which we reserve for clients with Virtuoso benefits. The Park Hyatt Sydney in an Opera View room or suite is another good option.

In Melbourne, for a unique boutique hotel gem that an urban park, we suggest United Places Botanic Gardens, where our clients also enjoy Virtuoso benefits.

For an adults-only retreat near the Great Barrier Reef, we recommend Qualia, also with Virtuoso benefits.
