AMEX Offers: KLM, Yelp, Waldorf Astoria, Shake Shack

AMEX Offers are targeted offers that can be added to your AMEX card to either earn additional Membership Rewards points or provide statement credit if you meet the offer terms. Here's a roundup of some of the most interesting offers I currently see on my AMEX cards, including KLM, Yelp Ads, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels, and Shake Shack.

If you manage all of your AMEX cards from a single account, even if multiple cards are targeted for the same offer, generally once you save the offer to one of your cards, you won't be able to save it to another card. For this reason, if you see an offer you hope to take advantage of on more than one card, I recommend using the old AMEX login (courtesy of Dan) and then opening the offer for your different AMEX cards in different browser windows. Then add it to each card swiftly, so that you've saved the offer on all your targeted cards.

1. KLM: Earn 20K Bonus AMEX Points for $1000+ Spend

Earn 20,000 bonus Membership Rewards points one-time
Spend required: Minimum of $1,000+ in one or more eligible transactions directly with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
Deadline: Must purchase by 12/31/2017
Flight must originate in U.S. and be processed in USD
Only U.S. issued AMEX cards are eligible

This offer was on my AMEX Platinum and AMEX EveryDay card, but not my AMEX Blue for Business. If you use this offer, for example for KLM Business Class, don't forget to attach your FlyingBlue or other frequent flyer number to earn miles. You can credit to Delta or other SkyTeam members, or even Alaska, although note that you'll only earn 20% of the miles flown for deeply discounted economy (fare class T, E, N, V, R, G).

2. Yelp Ads: Earn 30K Bonus AMEX Points for $300+ Spend

Even if you don't really need Yelp ads and don't value them, this is akin to buying AMEX Membership Rewards points at 1 cent each, which is a good deal if you redeem AMEX points by transferring to partners for first class and business class award flights.

3. Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels: Earn $70 for $350+ Spend

Earn one $70 statement credit
Spend required: Minimum of $350+ on room rate and room charges at a Waldorf Astoria or Conrad hotel in the U.S. or U.S. territories
Deadline: Must bill the stay to your card by 2/28/18

This could be a good offer to combine with Virtuoso benefits, since reservations made by TravelSort or another Virtuoso advisor count, as they are equivalent to booking directly with the hotel. Several U.S. Waldorf Astoria properties are Virtuoso members:

Spend required: $15+ at participating Shake Shack locations in New York and Massachusetts
Deadline: Must purchase by 12/31/2017
Excludes locations in ballparks, airports, stadiums, and race tracks. Excludes international locations. Excludes purchases via merchant app.
