A 75K AMEX Business Gold Rewards card bonus offer is available online, although unlike some previous offers, it has a minimum spend of $10,000 during the first 3 months. Update: some have written to say they can't get the 75K offer to appear online when they search for AMEX Business Gold Rewards or AMEX Business Platinum. Both come up for me consistently in Google Chrome and Safari, but apparently these are still targeted offers. If using Chrome, try deleting all cookies and browsing history, and opening a new incognito window.
Here are the details:
- 75,000 Membership Rewards points after $10,000 spend within the first 3 months of card membership
- 3X points per dollar spent on one category of your choice from the list below:
- Airfare purchased directly from airlines
- U.S. purchases for advertising in select media
- U.S. purchases for shipping
- U.S. computer hardware, software, cloud computing purchases made directly from select providers
- 2X points per dollar spent on the 4 remaining categories
- 1X per dollar spent on all other purchases
- Annual fee waived the first year; thereafter $175 per year
- Bonus not available to applicants who have or have had this product within the last 12 months
There's also a 75K AMEX Business Platinum card offer, although this comes with a higher $15K minimum spend and may be targeted:
- 75,000 Membership Rewards points after $15,000 spend within the first 3 months of card membership
- $200 airline fee credit: select a qualifying airline and then receive up to $200 per calendar year in statement credits when incidental fees, such as checked bags and in-flight refreshments, are charged to your Business Platinum card
- Fee credit for Global Entry or TSA Precheck: Receive one Global Entry ($100) statement credit or one TSA Precheck ($85) statement credit
- $450 annual fee (not waived)
- Bonus ID: A6QL
- Bonus not available to applicants who have or have had this product within the last 12 months
If I hadn't just signed up for the 100K AMEX Business Platinum, which also has a $10K minimum spend, I would likely be applying for the 75K AMEX Business Rewards Gold offer, since if you can manage the minimum spend, a 75K transferable point bonus is great for a card that waives the annual fee the first year.

Isn't There a Similar 75K AMEX Business Gold Offer with $5K Minimum Spend?
I'm not aware of a public offer with lower minimum spend, but you may well receive a targeted offer either when logging into your AMEX account or via snail mail, so scan your email and mail carefully for any better targeted offers. Also see 75K and 50K AMEX Business Gold Card Bonus Offers.
Does the 3X Bonus Points for Airfare Include Buying Miles?
Usually not, because most buy miles offers are processed by points.com. That said, when you buy American AAdvantage miles, these are processed by American Airlines itself, so you *do* earn the 3X bonus for these purchases, if you chose airfare as your 3X category.
Is There a Foreign Transaction Fee for the AMEX Business Gold Card?
Unfortunately, yes–there is a 2.7% foreign transaction fee. Unlike the AMEX Premier Rewards Gold card, which announced that as part of its new benefits (and annual fee hike to $195, from the current $175) there will be no foreign transaction fee effective June 1, 2015, I haven't seen any similar mention of this for the AMEX Business Gold Rewards card. Only the AMEX Business Platinum offers no foreign transaction fee, of American Express' business charge cards and credit cards.
