At TravelSort, we've traveled the world, personally vetting the vast majority of the luxury hotels, resorts, and private islands that we reserve for our clients. We've also developed and nurtured relationships with key hotel contacts and General Managers that allow us to offer our clients exceptional value-added amenities and VIP experiences to our clients' stays.
Our clients value our expertise and attention to detail, and our fees ensure the value we bring to client travel is appreciated and compensated.
Hotel or Cruise Only: No Booking Fee
There is no booking fee where we reserve a commissionable rate at a hotel or cruise that the client requests. Many of our clients are independent travelers that look to us to include our perks with the hotel or cruise that they choose. That said, we reserve the right to charge the following professional fees:
- Cancellation or Change: $50 per room or stateroom reserved. This fee applies if after we make the booking, you cancel or postpone your trip. We typically do not charge for a single change of dates, but we reserve the right to charge for subsequent date changes.
- Last minute booking: $75 per room or stateroom reserved. This fee applies for requests made within the 7 days prior to travel, as these require extra attention due to the timing of the request.
- Restricted Festive Season Availability: $100 per hotel request.
- Requests for travel between December 20 and January 4 are considered festive bookings and will only incur a fee if availability is restricted.
- Hotels often have restrictive festive season policies, such as a minimum number of stay nights (typically 7-10 days), blackout days for check-in/check-out, and priority for repeat guests. This fee covers the additional time and resources required to navigate the challenges of making a reservation and managing the resort’s waitlist during this season.

Travel Consulting
We are always happy to provide the hotel or resort's Concierge Team contact details for clients who wish to make their own transfer, car rental, dining, spa, and activity reservations in advance of their stay (which we highly recommend).
For clients who prefer a bespoke service, we can do everything from advising on potential destinations given a client's travel dates and interests to helping charter a luxury yacht to cruise the Mediterranean or other destination, to conducting an award search to redeem client miles for international business or first class (this must accompany a luxury hotel or cruise itinerary) to creating customized itineraries with dining reservations and private guides. Our current hourly rate is $300, with a three hour minimum; cruise clients who have reserved with us enjoy a reduced hourly rate.
