Citi AAdvantage Retention Offers and 3 AAdvantage Miles Per Dollar (Targeted)

I'll get to the Citi AAdvantage retention offers in a bit, but first: don't throw away your AAdvantage junk mail yet! If you have a Citi AAdvantage card, you may have received a 3 AAdvantage miles per dollar of spend on virtually all spend, up to 2500 AAdvantage miles. Note that this is targeted, so it won't help you to try to use someone else's Invitation Number if you haven't been selected for the offer.

Offer Details:

Must enroll first: visit specialoffers.citicards.com or call 800-784-2484 and provide your Invitation Number, or scan the code you received in your invite
Offer is non-transferrable and applies to the account ending in the last 4 digits referenced in the offer
Offer starts within 2 business days of when you enroll; enroll by 5/31/13 and all purchases must post by 6/30/13 to be eligible for the 3 miles per $1 bonus
Eligible purchases exclude balance transfers, cash advances, convenience checks, items returned for credit, fees and interest charges
Earnings associated with this program may overlap with other special offers in which you are currently enrolled

While not a huge promotion, every mile counts when you're close to redeeming for an award (Cathay Pacific First Class or Etihad First Class, anyone?), so at least for me, this offer comes as an opportune time as I earn the last few miles needed for an AAdvantage redemption for my family.
