Amazon Prime: Free Unlimited Photo Storage on Cloud Drive

Amazon Prime is offering free unlimited photo storage on Amazon Cloud Drive, a nice benefit if you already subscribe to Amazon Prime and have lots of high resolution photos you want to store in the cloud.

The nice thing, in addition to it being free, is that it's incredibly easy to use. The login is the same as for your Amazon Prime account:

Once logged in, you can drag photos in, add individual files, or upload all the photos in a folder.

You can easily create a link to share a given photo; note that anyone with the link will be able to view the shared photo, but you can revoke the sharing at any time. I haven't seen a way to put together and share an album, however.

Although I haven't tried it yet, Cloud Drive is also available for iOS and Android phones.

Amazon Prime is pretty much a must for us, given how much we order from Amazon, and that we leverage 5X on All Amazon Spend to boost our Ultimate Rewards bonus points.

And it seems a smart move by Amazon to help ensure Amazon Prime members renew their memberships, especially as the membership cost did increase from $79 to $99 in March 2014. It's worth noting that you get a free year of Amazon Prime with the AMEX EveryDay credit card, AMEX EveryDay Preferred Credit Card, Blue Cash Everyday card and Blue Cash Preferred cards, although I haven't found any of these cards to be worth the hard credit pull, given other more lucrative travel rewards credit card offers–see Best Travel Credit Cards.
