Raffles Courchevel Announced

Raffles Courchevel will be the second Raffles in France, after Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, and the fifth Raffles in Europe, when it opens in time for the 2028 winter ski season.

Raffles Courchevel Location and Getting There

The new ski resort will be located at Courchevel 1850, walking distance from competing luxury ski resorts Cheval Blanc Courchevel, Les Airelles Courchevel, and the new Rosewood Courchevel, as well as several Michelin-star restaurants and exclusive boutiques. Set within Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest interconnected ski area and the ultimate winter playground for mountain adventure, Courchevel 1850 has drawn generations of discerning travelers seeking the rare combination of world-class skiing, refined living, and unrivalled cultural and social energy. With a premier position within the Jardin Alpin, the most elevated and coveted enclave of Courchevel 1850, Raffles will enjoy sweeping panoramic views across the Tarentaise Valley.

Guests flying private can arrive via Courchevel Altiport (CVF), accessible to fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters only, and located about an 11-minute drive from the hotel. Otherwise, fly into Geneva (GVA), about a 2.5 hour drive from Courchevel.

Raffles Courchevel Rooms, Suites, and Amenities

Raffles Courchevel will have 50 guest rooms and suites, similar to Rosewood Courchevel, and a few more than Cheval Blanc and Les Airelles. Interior design will be by Humbert & Poyet, whose hospitality work includes the Mandarin Oriental Vienna and the forthcoming Four Seasons Berlin and Rosewood Milan.

Many of the guest rooms and suites will include a furnished private balcony framing the surrounding peaks. At the heart of the resort, a collection of distinctive dining spaces will invite guests to savour exceptional cuisine against a stunning alpine backdrop, from a signature bar and elegant tea lounge to two destination restaurants with winter gardens and expansive terraces.

The Spa and recovery zones will serve as a welcome area to rejuvenate following a day on the slopes. Traditional alpine wellness will combine with precision therapies rooted in longevity science. The offering includes treatment rooms, thermal experiences, a dedicated fitness centre, and a panoramic swimming pool.
