Last Chance: Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas 4th Night Free with Fan Club Benefits

Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas-4th Night Free-Fan Club Benefits Before Becoming Waldorf Astoria

Last Chance for the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, with a 4th Night Free and Fan Club Preferred Partner Benefits. This is because, effective August 31, the property will rebrand as the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. This is quite a loss for Mandarin Oriental and for my clients who loved the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, as Waldorf Astoria service standards are generally not as high as Mandarin Oriental. I'd also be careful about reserving the property if Waldorf Astoria keeps it open during the planned renovation, given the potential for noise and disruption.

As with many luxury hotels, Mandarin Oriental does not own most of its properties, but rather manages them on behalf of owners, under a management contract. When in April 2018 the owner of the Las Vegas property, CityCenter Holdings (a subsidiary of MGM Resorts) sold the hotel and the adjacent retail for $214 million to an undisclosed buyer, the Mandarin Oriental's management contract was cancelled by the new buyers, who signed a contract with Waldorf Astoria.

Here's the 4th night free offer, available to TravelSort Clients with Fan Club Benefits:

  • Stay 3 nights, enjoy the 4th night complimentary
  • Offer valid on select dates until August 30, 2018
  • USD 100 Food & Beverage or Spa Credit, per room per stay

  • One category room upgrade, subject to availability at time of check-in

Note that although Mandarin Oriental introduced a guest benefits program, Fans of Mandarin Oriental, it's best to reserve with Mandarin Oriental Fan Club so as to enjoy all the benefits and VIP perks, not just a few of them.

Do you plan to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas before it reflags as a Waldorf Astoria?
