Guess the Tropical Resort: Modern and Chic

This Tropical Resort is a Favorite with Younger Couples. It opened over 7 years ago, and while there are some signs of wear and tear, overall it's aged well and been nicely maintained. Its open air lobby, with a vaulted ceiling, is perfectly suited to pandemic times.

From the lobby, enjoy a beautiful view of its tiered pools and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

Although the resort was at high occupancy during our visit and many of the pool loungers filled up in the morning (it's also possible to pay to reserve a cabana), there was plenty of space to swim in the pools themselves.

The beach offers paddle sports; it's possible to reserve morning outrigger canoe paddling and kayaking (included in the resort fee, although don't forget a gratuity to the staff).

TravelSort Clients enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast for two daily. Safety is managed with outdoor tables available, masks required except when actually eating, and all items from the buffet served to you. Included in the buffet is fresh squeezed juice (orange and guava during our visit), coffee drinks, eggs, including omelets, cooked to order.

Don't miss at least one dinner at the Japanese restaurant. We particularly enjoyed these Hamachi Tacos as an appetizer, and the Pork Chop with Kim Chee.
