Cheval Blanc Paris Opening Spring 2020

Cheval Blanc Paris Opens Spring 2020

Cheval Blanc Paris Will Open in Spring 2020 as Cheval Blanc's first urban Cheval Blanc. It's also been announced as a Virtuoso Preview property, so TravelSort Clients will enjoy these Virtuoso benefits:

  • Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability
  • Complimentary full American breakfast for two daily for duration of the stay
  • Complimentary round-trip private airport / train station / hotel transfer with VIP meet & greet
  • Early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability

Cheval Blanc Paris Location

Cheval Blanc Paris will be located at 8 quai du Louvre, on the banks of the Seine, steps from the Pont Neuf and Pont Neuf Metro Station, just a 5 minute walk to the Louvre Museum, a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame, a 17-18 minute walk to the Musee d'Orsay, and an 18-20 minute walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg. It's a superb location, and the perfect luxury base for clients who want to be closer to the Left Bank, yet want more modern rooms and suites and more space than is typically found in Rive Gauche hotels.

Cheval Blanc Paris Rooms and Suites

While no images have been released yet of the interiors, designed by Peter Marino and Edouard François, there will be 72 rooms and suites, split evenly: 36 rooms and 36 suites. Entry level rooms will be 484 square feet 945 square meters), and some of the rooms' and suites' panoramic floor to ceiling windows will provide beautiful views of the Seine, from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame.

There will be 20 connecting rooms and suites, which are ideal for families. Cheval Blanc, as with Four Seasons, has been savvy regarding young guests, realizing that many of their well-heeled clients travel as a family. Treat the kids well and create wonderful memories for them, and the family is more likely to return, plus kids grow up and become paying clients in their own right.

Cheval Blanc Paris: 3 Michelin Star Chef

Helming Cheval Blanc Paris' fine dining restaurant will be Chef Arnaud Donckele, of the 3 Michelin Star La Vague d'Or restaurant at Cheval Blanc St. Tropez. He'll apparently be splitting his time between the two properties, with 7 months of the year at the new Cheval Blanc Paris, and mid-May to mid-October at Cheval Blanc St. Tropez. Clearly the Cheval Blanc Paris Team, which includes key managers from Cheval Blanc Courchevel such as General Manager Romain Meiran and Operations Director Edouard Delavaux, are gunning for Michelin stars at the new Cheval Blanc Paris restaurant.
