British Airways Joins TSA PreCheck

Finally: British Airways Has Joined TSA PreCheck. That's the good news. The bad news is that not all airport terminals that British Airways departs from (notably NYC JFK Terminal 7) offer TSA PreCheck yet. British Airways is the dominant carrier flying out from JFK Terminal 7 (although AA, Alaska Airlines, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Finnair, Qatar, SriLankan Airlines and Interjet also operate flights from Terminal 7) so until now there hasn't been enough demand from the non-BA carriers to operate a TSA PreCheck line–I hope that changes soon now that BA has joined TSA PreCheck.

TSA PreCheck security procedures enable travelers to more quickly pass through security screening, since they don't need remove shoes, light jackets, belts, and can keep laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.

British Airways is the 53rd airline to join TSA PreCheck, which now includes these airlines (bolding mine, for the airlines most readers are likely to find useful):
