| All airlines do not release award seats at the same time and this creates a problem. What I mean to say is that the start of booking window can have a wide range for different airlines and sometimes you get better choices 7-9 months in advance instead of 10-11 months. Do you agree? |

| Why would you keep Amex SPG? I would dump it every year and switch it with the business version and vice versa. This card is churnable yearly so I do not see any incentive to hold on to that. |

| Wonderful post and wonderful timing from a wonderful person. Just in time for my last application o rama for this year. I applied for six cards all using your links, so you should get some credit. Hilton HHonors amex approved online. 2 Citi Hilton HHonors visa using two different browsers. Both applications pending for review. Called the requested number and both approved on the phone. Both applications for Hawaian Airlines visa from Bank of America and Hawaii Bank pending for further review. I don't know if there is any number to contact them or should I wait patiently for the letter? Last but not the least, using your link, Chase Ink card. As expected decision pending, called the number and after some questioning and credit line transfers approved. |

| I have a feeling that soon you will not be able to see any Qatar flights on United web site as well, so my recommendation is to book it as soon as possible instead of procrastinating till the last moment. On another note, I will wait to hear from you on the great possibilities opening up with Emirates and Alaska Airlines, Korean and Japan airlines. |

I feel sorry for St. Regis Bangkok as you a are a tough customer to impress because of your previous experience as compared to a commoner like me who will take everything with a smile simply because I do not have much to compare. | Award # 6 says 135,000 American miles for Cathay Pacific first class between the US and Asia. Now I presume this is not valid for Indian subcontinent or Middle East like Dubai as American Airlines does not allow across the Pacific. Am I right? |

I am confused and surprised on one thing. According to AA chart the amount of miles required for an award between US to Indian subcontinent is 90k miles in first class. Now is that one way only? Etiahd miles for an etihad award for the same route is 180k. This I presume is a return award. Am I right? I am just trying to figure out which strategy will be more economical. In December I am flying this route in Y with the family and wanted to know where should I pool my miles for future such awards. |
