Sometimes I'll return to a city just to stay at a certain hotel again. Be it the service, view, or décor, there are lots of amazing “destination” properties out there, as well as go-to hotels for major cities. Here are my favorites, enjoy!

"This is a top notch property and probably the best value in NYC. The rooms are great, the people are great, and the Sunday brunch is truly phenomenal"

Andaz Wall Street

"I was really impressed by this hotel — the service, rooms, public facilities, and club lounge were all top notch...this is definitely a hotel I’ll return to. Two thumbs up!"

Intercontinental San Francisco

"The InterContinental Hong Kong probably boasts the most spectacular harbor and city views in the world. The rooms with the best view in the hotels are the junior suites ending in '16.'"

"If you're Starwood Platinum, this is the place I’d stay in San Diego. Usually I’m all for modern hotels, but they did an amazing job restoring this place — the room felt modern while still retaining some “old world charm”

"The service, offerings, and décor at the Peninsula Bangkok were flawless. I even recall us arriving at the hotel before the stated check-in time and our room wasn’t quite ready, so they directed us to the lobby lounge for drinks/afternoon tea and picked up the tab."

"The Park Hyatt Melbourne has spacious rooms and the nicest club lounge of any Hyatt I’ve ever been to--classy, spectacular food and drink, and better than about 90% of other club lounges I've visited. My stay was actually perfect!"
