You'll want to use your Ink Bold or Ink Plus to earn 5 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar, so 225 points on a $45 purchase.
I love earning 5X points on all Amazon spend, since our Amazon spending as a family is substantial. We buy a number of items, such as various organic cereals, teas, drugstore type items, etc. using Subscribe & Save, which provides additional savings.
Ultimate Rewards points are great for United MileagePlus awards, such as flying first class to Asia in Asiana First Class Suites or Lufthansa First Class to Europe, if you're able to find availability up to 15 days before departure. Also see Best Ways to Use Chase Ultimate Rewards Points.
Unfortunately for me and others in Manhattan, the Brooklyn Office Max isn't that convenient, so I'll won't be taking advantage of this. But if you're stopping at Office Max anyway this week, it could be worth seeing if you could pick up several cards, notwithstanding the one per person limit.
