The Hyatt 15% Discount Code, DISC15, is one of the prizes offered to targeted members who play Hyatt's online game “The Chase“
Fortunately, the discount code works (at least for now) at many Hyatt properties even if you aren't targeted to play the game. I haven't been able to get it to work for the random dates I picked at all the Hyatt properties I tried, for example I couldn't get it to work at the Andaz 5th Avenue in NYC (although perhaps it was just the dates I tried) but it did work for others, including for some international Hyatt hotels and resorts.
While you'd unquestionably be better off using your 2 free nights from the Hyatt Visa or redeeming 22,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points for a standard Park Villa at the Park Hyatt Maldives, the 15% discount code does work for the dates I tried that have room availability:

Is the Hyatt 15% Discount Code Always the Best Deal?
No–often the Advance Purchase rate (which is non-refundable) is lower. And of course redeeming Hyatt Gold Passport points is often a better deal for high end properties. But if you are making a paid reservation using the Hyatt 15% discount code can be the best deal if the rate is the same as or only slightly higher than the advance purchase rate, since the discount off the average daily rate is refundable (check exact hotel cancellation policies).
